Food and drink
Bristol is lucky to be surrounded by excellent, locally produced food, grown, harvested and processed by hard-working farmers and artisans. 75% our produce are supplied from The Community Farm in Chew Magna, and all our produce is organic. The Community Farm is a social enterprise that was born out of The Better Food Company’s former agricultural operations. As well as supplying Bristol and the wider region, they also run workshops and volunteer days for their members. See their website to find out how to get involved. We also work with local CSA Sims Hill Shared Harvest, Edible Futures, Strode Valley and Grow Bristol.
In addition to fresh produce, we stock dried and tinned goods, snacks, meat, fish and plant-based protein.
All customers can top up their water for free in our stores – there’s even sparkling water available. We stock a number of low-sugar cordial, fruit juices and speciality drinks like Kombucha. For those that drink alcohol, we have local beers from Arbor Ales and Bath Ales, organic wine from Europe, and spirits distilled by Bramley and Gage, among many others.
