ART IN THE CAFE If you’re a local artist and interested in exhibiting in the café, please email lucy@betterfood.co.uk or pop into the shop and leave your contact details with a member of staff. Be prepared for a wait though – the wall has been very popular. So far I have bookings up until January 2011. If you can fill a slot at short notice, that would be good to know… thanks.

With Patricia Perez. Tuesday 10 August, 7pm Be creative with driftwood Make a plant pot holder out of driftwood. Wood supplied but please bring scissors and ball of string or twine. With Bristol Women’s Workshop tutor Anne Harding. Tuesday 17 August, 7pm Belly Dancing Have a fun evening learning to shimmy, shake, and hip drop in the Egyptian fashion. Bring a coin belt if possible and a veil or large piece of light, floaty material like a large pashmina. With Laura Kelly. Tuesday 24 August, 7pm Homeopathy Explore the amazing world of homeopathy and how it may help you with all sorts of complaints. With homeopath and earth energy healer Alison Wilding.
