Better Food has always put people and planet at the heart of our company. We make this visible in store by supporting organic, ethical and local, and work hard to build community spaces that inspire, restore and reconnect us. With the launch of our new website we will now be able to mirror this image online. As with all new things, there are still lessons to be learnt and ways to improve so bear in mind that the site is a work-in-progress. As ever, we value your comments. So if you have any thoughts about the content or navigability then do get in touch and we will do what we can to improve our service.

So what’s new?

We listened to your feedback and added new features that will improve your navigation of and interaction with the site. In addition to our information on store times, we now have a sub-tab informing you of the café opening hours at our three stores. Make sure to check here if you plan on popping in to eat or drink with us.

Our recipes page has received a long overdue makeover. Along with tasty and seasonal organic recipes, we will feature guest food bloggers like Mel R. Gonzalez from Cook your Life. Find our recipes section under the ‘stores’ tab.

Our producer and staff are valued highly – they are what makes us who we are. To showcase their work and ideas we now have a more active blog site. This will be regularly updated with their personal experiences about organic food and sustainability, as well as nutritional information and advice.

Our new community space will build on this conversation and feature some of the groups and charitable causes we support locally, as well as organisations who are working with us to make our business better for everyone. There are so many wonderful people and projects to talk about, so we will do our best to keep you up to date with all that is going on in the community and how you can get involved.

All I want for Christmas…

With Christmas right around the corner (yes, it has come round fast!) we’ve made sure that the new website is ready for you. It has all the information you need to make preparations for the day a stress-free affair. And we have a new pre-order system that will allow you to reserve your bird, nut roast, or both. Watch this space with full information about what’s on offer and how, when and where you can make payment and collect.
