The Bristol community is what makes us, and we’re involved in lots of ways…

Our Streets to Kitchen campaign is our flagship community project, raising money to provide valuable skills to people affected by homelessness in Bristol.

We’ve collaborated with Incredible Edible Bristol to set up an edible growing bed at our Wapping Wharf store. You can help yourself to a taste of what grows there, or join us for regular growing parties—just keep an eye on our events pages for details.

Feast your eyes as well as your tastebuds in our St. Werburghs café, where each month we feature work from a local artist on our Artist Wall.

We’ve partnered with local organisations who share our values to bring you the best offers while you shop.

We receive many emails asking for donations for local causes and community groups, and we want to be able to yes to as many of these requests as we can! We also want to be sure that our charitable activity has a real and lasting impact. Our policy for donations tries to reflect this in two ways:

1. We have an annual budget set aside specifically for making ad hoc donations to charities and community groups in Bristol and beyond. So that we can say yes to as many of these as possible, we offer smaller donations to many causes. This is usually in the form of a voucher that can be used as a raffle prize or pledge reward in order to generate more funds.

2. With the support of our staff, customers and the local community, we’ve committed to raising £10,000 for our own Streets to Kitchen project in aid of Square Food Foundation’s work with St. Mungo’s Bristol.

If you have a cause that you’d like us to support with a non-financial donation, please send details to

Here you’ll find information about the groups and organisations we support and collaborate with, as well as good causes that are supported by the sale of some of our products. If you’d like your organisation’s profile to appear here, please contact for consideration.
