Bristol businesses call on Parliamentary candidates to back Climate and Nature Bill
Today on World Environment Day, we have joined with 70+ Bristol business leaders calling for our local parliamentary candidates to back the Climate and Nature Bill ahead of the General Election.
In an open letter coordinated by Triodos Bank UK, businesses in the city representing over £500 million of revenue and more than 2,500 employees including Boston Tea Party, Arup, Natracare, Sawday’s, Neighbourly, Silverback Films and Finisterre – make the case for the Bill as it will lead to multiple social and economic benefits and is simply the right thing for responsible companies to be calling for.
Phil Haughton MBE, Founder of Better Food said: “We’re pleased to be joining forces with so many purposeful Bristol businesses to back the Climate and Nature Bill to ensure we build hope for our climate and for nature. This means a lot to us as Better Food’s mission is embedded in positive impact for nature and climate.”
