Your Drill To Refill
Our guide to refill
World Refill Day is upon us! What better time to reflect on the sustainable changes that you’ve already made, and consider what other refillable substitutions you can weave into your every day life.
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to cut down on single-use packaging, and refill instead. Next time you’re in store, why not check out one (or all!) of these refill options:
Health, bodycare & household
From shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soaps, to laundry liquid, fabric conditioner, washing-up liquid, bathroom cleaner… we could go on. You pay by the millilitre, so as long as you know how much it holds, you can use any container.
Olives, antipasti and salads
Bring in your own containers to fill with our delicious range of olives and antipasti for your BBQs and picnics. Have your eye on our café salads? Why not bring in a Tupperware?
Free range eggs
This is a great way to make use of your old egg cartons, and if you don’t want 6 at a time, you can just pick how many you need! We charge per egg so you don’t need to worry about wasting any.
Semi-skimmed and whole milk
Bring a bottle or buy one in store, take your pick of semi-skimmed or whole and get filling. Remember to note down the expiry date – you can find it on the front of the milk refill dispensers.
Dried pulses, fruit, grains, nuts, seeds, spices, herbs and tea
Available at St Werburghs & Gloucester Road only
Get all your dried essentials and on-the-go snacking. You pay for these by weight, so you can fill your bags with as much as you need, just make sure to put your choices in separate containers.
Frozen
Available at St Werburghs and Whiteladies Road only
Head into store to scoop your favourite frozen fruits and vegetables. Why not pick up a couple of Hobbs House bake-at-home pastries while you’re at it! (Available in all stores).
