What to buy at Better Food: Organic, locally made ice creams and sorbets
Proud advocates of organic food and farming, Luscious founders Kate Clark and Doug Whitelaw found a home for their business at Neston Park – a vast and appropriately lush organic farming estate in Wiltshire. There, they turn freshly collected milk from the farm’s pedigree Jersey herd, locally sourced eggs and Jersey cream, and carefully sourced organic ingredients into all-natural, delicious ice creams.
For dairy-free days, their organic sorbets pack a punch of zingy fruit flavour.
Mission and values: Making the best possible products that support the high welfare and wide biodiversity of their home farm – no colourings, no artificial additives. Just pure, natural, happiness in a tub.

We love them because… we’d been on the look-out for a range of all organic, local ice cream for a little while, so we were especially excited to find Luscious, whose location at Neston Park gives them daily access to some of the creamiest organic milk around. The fact that they’re also using their expert knowledge of organic sourcing to make dairy-free sorbets gives them extra brownie points (and gives us extra options to go alongside our brownies!).
