Many of you have probably heard about the amazing, healing properties of golden milk, so called because turmeric turns it yellow. Turmeric is an ascending root, very popular in Indian and Ayurvedic cuisine. It contains curcumin, which is an antioxidant compound able to modulate microglia neuroinflamation, so by adding an extra dash of turmeric, your meals could promote important anti-inflammatory processes. Perfect to prevent coughs and colds during the winter months!
Serve: 1 cup Level: Easy Time: 2-5 minutes
250 ml of almond milk or another of your favourite milks
1 Tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp of turmeric power
A pinch of cinnamon
Extra water if necessary
- Heat your milk in a pan with all the ingredients.
- Stir, and serve hot with a pinch of cinnamon on top. It’s that simple
